Frequently Asked Questions

1. DO YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness chooses to be an out-of-network physical therapy practice. We have out-of-network status with most private insurance companies and plans, but we do not bill your insurance company. Payment in full is collected at the time of service. Upon request, an itemized bill (“superbill”) can be generated for a client, and the client is then responsible for submitting this superbill for reimbursement or credit towards his or her deductible or out of pocket max. Please understand that it is the responsibility of the individual client to verify insurance benefits and submit all claims for reimbursement. Insurance policies and benefits vary widely, with some plans having no allowance for physical therapy or wellness at all. Although most insurance companies and plans offer some type of credit or reimbursement for our services, this is not guaranteed and it is always the responsibility of the client to verify his or her insurance benefits. Beneficiaries of federal insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid, or Tri-Care are welcome to work with us (we have seen hundreds of people with these plans!), but these plans will not offer any reimbursement for our services and we are unable to generate superbills for these individuals.

2. CAN I PAY WITH MY HSA OR FSA ACCOUNT?

Yes! Our preferred methods of payment are cash, check, credit card, and Venmo, but we also accept HSA/FSA cards and Care Credit.

3. WHAT AREAS ARE SERVED BY LIMITLESS THERAPY AND WELLNESS?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness is based in the greater Greenville, SC area and serves a large part of the upstate area including Greenville, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, Mauldin, Taylors, Greer, and Traveler’s Rest and more! If you’re interested in finding out if Limitless Therapy and Wellness can come to you, please fill out the “Contact Us” Form at the bottom of the page!

4. DO I NEED A PHYSICIAN’S REFERRAL TO BE SEEN?

No! Per South Carolina State Law, a patient may see a physical therapist via “direct access” without a physician referral on file for up to 30 days. Once a patient has been seen for 30 days, we must have a physician referral on file. However, this does not mean that you have to schedule an appointment to see a physician. This is often an easy phone call to your primary care physician for them to send the information we need to continue if necessary.

5. HOW CAN I DO PHYSICAL THERAPY IN MY HOME? WHAT ABOUT ALL THE EQUIPMENT WE’LL NEED?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness has everything you need to have an unmatched physical therapy and wellness experience. We bring all the tools we’ll need, such as:

  • Treatment Table
  • Yoga Mat
  • Soft Tissue Mobilization Instruments – EDGE Tool, Cupping, Foam Roller, etc.
  • Dry Needling Supplies
  • Weights/Resistance Bands
  • Taping Supplies And so much more!

6. HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?

A course of care with Limitless Therapy and Wellness begins with an initial evaluation, which is priced at $295. After completion of the initial evaluation, your therapist will make a recommendation for continued care based on your unique situation, and you will have two options for payment:

  • Pay-As-You-Go: a simple flat fee for continued in-office, mobile, or virtual physical therapy sessions. Pricing is dependent upon the location and type of appointments needed
  • Prepaid Plan of Care Package: up to 15% discount available for purchasing visit packages, based on the recommendation of your physical therapist.

7. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “WELLNESS SERVICES”?

Wellness services are an important part of The Limitless Philosophy. Wellness services are routinely defined as health care services that are not medically necessary and do not require medical supervision. Wellness services have two specific goals in mind:

1. Maintenance – maintaining gains/improvements achieved through formal rehabilitation or physical therapy services by continued focused intervention.

2. Injury Prevention – identifying potential risk for injury and addressing any deficits or contributing factors before the onset of pain or physical limitations. Wellness services are not reimbursable through most insurance companies. However, they are an extremely valuable investment in your health and well-being moving forward. If you are someone who sees value in addressing a small problem before it becomes a big one, or if you are someone that likes to make sure that you are functioning at your greatest potential capacity, then wellness services are for you!

8. WHAT KINDS OF INJURIES OR CONDITIONS DO YOU NOT TREAT?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine as experts in the care of most musculoskeletal conditions. Thus, we do not specialize in many neurological or pediatric conditions and would be happy to refer you to another provider if we deem that your condition or situation is not a good fit for our services. Here are a few examples of conditions or pathologies that we do not treat:

  • Post-Concussion Syndrome • CVA/Stroke • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Post-Amputation
  • Pediatric conditions such as muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, Down’s Syndrome, or Cerebral Palsy
