Do You Accept My Insurance?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness is a cash-based concierge mobile physical therapy practice. We are not able to see beneficiaries of federal insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid, or Tri-Care at this time. We have out-of-network status with most private insurance companies and plans, but we do not bill your insurance company. Payment in full is collected at the time of service. Upon request, an itemized bill (“superbill”) can be generated for a client, and the client is then responsible for submitting this superbill for reimbursement or credit towards their deductible or out of pocket max. Please understand that it is the responsibility of the individual client to verify insurance benefits and submit all claims for reimbursement. Insurance policies and benefits vary widely, with some plans having no allowance for physical therapy or wellness at all. Although most insurance companies and plans offer some type of credit or reimbursement for our services, this is not guaranteed and it is always the responsibility of the client to verify his or her insurance benefits.

Can I Pay with My Hsa or FSA Account?

Yes! Our preferred methods of payment are cash, check, or debit card, but we also accept HSA/FSA cards, as well as all major credit cards.

Do I Need a Physician’s Referral to Be Seen?

No! Per South Carolina State Law, a patient may see a physical therapist via “direct access” without a physician referral on file for up to 30 days. Once a patient has been seen for 30 days, we must have a physician referral on file. However, this does not mean that you have to schedule an appointment to see a physician. This is often an easy phone call to your primary care physician for them to send the information we need to continue if necessary.

How Much Does a Session Cost?

A course of care with Limitless Therapy and Wellness begins with an initial evaluation, which is priced at $295.  After completion of the initial evaluation, your therapist will make a recommendation for continued care based on your unique situation, and you will have two options for payment:

  • Pay-As-You-Go: a simple flat fee for continued in-office, mobile, or virtual physical therapy sessions.  Pricing is dependent upon the location and type of appointments needed.
  • Prepaid Plan of Care Package: up to 15% discount available for purchasing visit packages, based on the recommendation of your physical therapist.
Does It Really Cost Less to Work with Limitless Therapy and Wellness Compared to an In-Network Physical Therapy Clinic or Other In-Network Provider?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness has several innovative payment models (see previous question) with rates that are very competitive with traditional outpatient physical therapy clinics with many additional conveniences and benefits.

  • The average cost of a physical therapy session at a traditional outpatient clinic in South Carolina is $150, but this varies widely with costs frequently reaching up to $500 or more for an individual session depending on billed codes.
  • Limitless Therapy and Wellness’s prices are capped at $295 per session, with discounts available based on the number and type of visits needed.

What Do You Mean by “Wellness Services”?

Wellness services are an important part of The Limitless Philosophy. Wellness services are routinely defined as health care services that are not medically necessary and do not require medical supervision. Wellness services have two specific goals in mind:

  1. Maintenance – maintaining gains/improvements achieved through formal rehabilitation or physical therapy services by continued focused intervention.
  2. Injury Prevention – identifying potential risk for injury and addressing any deficits or contributing factors before the onset of pain or physical limitations. Wellness services are not reimbursable through most insurance companies. However, they are an extremely valuable investment in your health and well-being moving forward. If you are someone who sees value in addressing a small problem before it becomes a big one, or if you are someone that likes to make sure that you are functioning at your greatest potential capacity, then wellness services are for you!
What Kinds of Injuries or Conditions Do You Not Treat?

Limitless Therapy and Wellness specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine as experts in the care of most musculoskeletal conditions. Thus, we do not specialize in many neurological or pediatric conditions and would be happy to refer you to another provider if we deem that your condition or situation is not a good fit for our services. Here are a few examples of conditions or pathologies that we do not treat:

  • Post-Concussion Syndrome
  • CVA/Stroke
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Post-Amputation
  • Pediatric conditions such as muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, Down’s Syndrome, or Cerebral Palsy

If you have questions about whether we are the right provider to take care of your specific injury or condition, please fill out our contact us form.

I’ve Been Seeing Another Provider (Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist, Pain Management, Etc.) for Years. What Makes You Think You Can Help Me or Actually Fix My Problem?

The unique mix of The Limitless Philosophy and Model of Care, along with the combination of skills and experience that we possess give you the best chance for success and returning to the lifestyle you desire. Why Should I See You Instead of Going to a Physical Therapist or Other Provider That Takes My Insurance?

The current model of musculoskeletal care in America is broken and unsustainable. Overprescription of medication, overuse of diagnostic imaging, and unnecessary procedures such as injections and surgery are all too common. The current models for delivery of physical therapy and wellness care are unfortunately caught up in this insufficient and ineffective approach to musculoskeletal care. In our current payer-driven system, insurance gets to dictate everything about your course of care in a traditional physical therapy clinic. An insurance company, whose only incentive is to reduce health care expenditures, often to the detriment of its beneficiaries, should not be the party that dictates how long you can be cared for, how often you can be cared for, how many times in a calendar year you can be treated, what interventions they will allow you to receive, whether treatment is “medically necessary,” and where you can be treated. You, as an individual and health care consumer, have the right and the opportunity to choose to become a part of an innovative model that prioritizes your health and allows you and a true musculoskeletal expert to collaborate on and execute a plan that gives you the best chance to succeed and achieve the physical freedom you’ve been looking for.
